Description

Verfahren zum Trennen von Gas- und Dampfgemischen durch Absorption mittels Kohle. In der Hauptpatentschrift, betreffend Werfahren zum Trennen von Gas- und Dampfgemischen«, ist ein Verfahren beschrieben, nach welchem die Trennung von Gas- und Dampfgemischen u. a. durch aufeinanderfolgende Behandlung mittels absorbierender, im besonderen auch chemisch aktivierter Kohle herbeigeführt wird. Besondere Schärfe der Trennung wird dort u. a. durch Regelung der Geschwindigkeit der aufeinanderfolgenden Kohlebänder herbeigeführt. Es wurde nun gefunden, da ß an Stelle der Regelung der Geschwindigkeit oder gleichzeitig mit dieser auch die Verwendung von Kohle verschiedener Absorptionsfähigkeit treten kann, wobei man in der Regel zunächst Kohle mindererer Absorptionsfähigkeit verwenden wird, wie beispielsweise gewöhnliche Holzkohle, , und im weiteren Verlauf Kohle immer höherer Absorptionsfähigkeit verwenden kann. Es kann auch in gewissen Fällen vorteilhaft sein, zwischen Behandlungen mit hochaktiver Kohle solche mit Kohle minderen Wirkungsgrades zwischenzuschalten, beispielsweise zur Absorption vielleicht nur in geringerer Menge vorhandener oder wenig wertvoller Bestandteile des Gasdampfgemisches.
