Description
Verpackungsgefäß mit angeschweißten Böden oder Deckelteilen. Die bisher bekannten flüssigkeitsdichten Verpackungsgefäße mit angeschweißten Böden oder Deckelauflagern zeigen die Verbindung dieser Abschlußteile mit der Mantelzarge in der Art, daß diese mit dem Rand des Bodens oder Deckelauflagers einen mehr oder weniger hohen, über dem Boden oder Deckelauflager vorstehenden Randsteg bildet. Beim Rollen, Werfen, Kanten und Hochheben der Verpackungsgefäße treten nun am Gefäßrande Stoß-, Stauch- und Hebelwirkungen auf, die sich immer in eine Formänderung der Gefäßränder auswirken, damit die Schweißnaht in ihrer ungünstigsten Lage am Rande von Mantelzarge und Bodenbördel sehr stark beanspruchen und eine Zerreißung oder ein Abscheren derselben herbeiführen. Vermieden werden diese Vorgänge auch nicht dadurch, daß man den Gefäßrand durch um denselben gelegte oder diesen hintergreifende Profilringe verstärkt. Gemäß der Erfindung wird die Auswirkung von Stoß-, Stauch- u. dgl. Vorgängen auf die Kopfschweißnähte von Verpackungsgefäßen dadurch ausgeschaltet, daß diese als Flachrundnähte in die Ebene des Mantels, und zwar in einem solchen Abstande von den Gefäßrändern verlegt sind, daß die Böden oder Deckelauflager selbst oder in den Rand dieser eingeschalteten Verstärkungseinlagen ein Widerlager für die Schweißnähte bilden. Für eingeschaltete Widerlager wählt man zweckmäßig einen solchen Querschnitt, daß auch dieses beim Rollen, Werfen oder Kanten des Gefäßes keine Hebelwirkung auf die Schweißnaht ausüben und diese sprengen kann. Erreichen läßt sich dies dadurch, daß man für das Widerlager einen runden oder ovalen Querschnitt wählt oder bei sonst eckigem Querschnitt desselben die Anlagefläche für die Schweißnaht mehr oder weniger abrundet. Als besonderer äußerer Schutz für die Schweißnaht und Verstärkung der Kopfenden des Gefäßes kann bei der Erfindung ein aufgewalzter Schutzring in Anwendung kommen, der durch seine Abnehmbarkeit es ermöglicht, die Schweißnaht leicht überprüfen zu können.Packaging vessel with welded-on bases or cover parts.
