In Deutschland treten einige Arten dieser Gattung verbreitet auf, wie zum Beispiel Filago arvensis und minima, in Norddeutschland (Schleswig-Holstein, Mittelrhein, Hunsrück, Franken-Oberpfalz, während andere Arten, wie Filago vulgaris, Filago lutescens und pyrami data nur sehr zerstreut in Deutschland anzutreffen sind und beispielsweise Filago gallica und filago neglecta nur an bestimmten Standorten anzutreffen sind (H.
