The drive roller 19 is driven by a hand drill 25 via a chain drive which is covered by the chain guard 26 in FIG. 1.

The hand drill 25 is fastened with a bracket 27 to the upper part 6 of the longitudinal spar 2 , which is extended beyond the drive roller 19 . The chain drive, not shown, is formed by a pinion clamped in the chuck of the hand drill 25 , a sprocket arranged on the shaft of the drive roller 19 and a chain wrapping around the pinion and the sprocket, the sprocket having a diameter which is considerably larger than that of the pinion to achieve appropriate reduction.

At the upper end of the upper part 6 of the elongated longitudinal spar 2 there is a handle 28 which, like the legs 12 , 13, extends from the frame 1 to the rear and, together with the handle 29 of the hand drill 25, forms the handles for pushing and pulling the device.
