Die kegelige Ausbildung hat den Vorteil, daß die Endflächen an den Rollen wesentlicher leichter als kugelige herzustellen sind. Ferner wird durch die Anordnung gemäß der vorliegenden Erfindundung erreicht, daß die Berührung zwischen den Rollen und den Laufringen möglichst lange auf einer Linie und nicht au`_ einer Fläche erfolgt. Diese Fläche nimmt mit dem Verschleiß an Breite zu. Bildet man nun die Berührungsstellen an den Ringen stark konvex aus, so muß auch bei eintretendem Verschleiß die Breite der Berührungsfläche um so kleiner bleiben, und es wird infolgedessen die Reibung um so geringer, je stärker die Berührungsfläche am Ring konvex gewölbt ist.Roller bearings.
