Abstract

To prevent formation of mist and aerosols in gas being cooled before delivery to a treatment unit or analyser, the gas is fed into a hollow filter body inside the cooling unit. In the filter cavity the gas pressure drops, with evolution of aerosols and mist. With pressure and temp. at normal levels, these materials are absorbed by the filter material, with the gas then leaving the cooler towards the test unit. ADVANTAGE - Falsified results and/or damage to appts. are avoided without complex further equipment.

Description

1. Bei installierten Meßgasaufbereitungsanlagen, h.i. With installed sample gas processing plants, h.i. Emission facility After the cooling unit, fog and aero form very often sole.

The new combination with filter unit in the cooling system should make it possible Lichen, these unwanted side effects in a certain arrangement avoidance.

Who at various existing sample gas processing plants partly the fog and aerosols due to very high installation avoided effort, e.g.

  • - Beheizung der Analysengeräte- Heating of the analysis devices
  • - Aufbereitung der Meßgase in einem Marmorofen- Preparation of the measuring gases in a marble oven
  • - Trocknung der Meßgase über Phosphatpentoxidabsorber u. v. m.- Drying the sample gases over phosphate pentoxide absorbers u. v. m.

With the new arrangement, the sample gases to be prepared (see gas flow diagram) are fed to the gas cooler ( 2 ). In the sample gas cooler ( 2 ) there is a filter ( 3 ). The sample gas is first expanded in the filter ( 3 ). The relaxation creates fog and aerosols. If the pressure and temperature are the same, these are then absorbed in the filter ( 3 ).

With this combination, the sample gas largely leaves the gas cooler without fog and aerosol formation.

Claims (3)

1. Nebel- und Aerosolvermeidung durch die Kombination Filtereinheit im Gaskühler.1. Avoidance of fog and aerosol through the combination of filter unit in the gas cooler. Durch o.a. By o.a. Constellation is achieved that the incoming measurement gases are relaxed and then under pressure and tempera equality in the filter are subjected to absorption. This means that there is largely no formation of fog and aerosols. 2. Kombination Gaskühler - Filtereinheit nach Anspruch 1.2. Combination gas cooler - filter unit according to claim 1.
