Abstract
Description
Device for viewing a fixed object optionally from different directions with a microscope.
The invention relates to a device for viewing a fixed object, optionally from different Directions with a microscope, especially one Stereo microscope, with a table and with two in Direction of light arranged in front of the microscope objective Mirror, with the first mirror below the lens pivotable and the second mirror is fixed.
A device of the type mentioned is from the Company brochure and an instruction manual for an approach for top and angled view for wild stereomicroscopes from the company Wild Heerbrugg AG in Heerbrugg / Switzerland. These However, known device has the disadvantage that this Objects to be viewed under a microscope only under supervision and oblique view are to be considered.
In some investigations, and especially in the case of Investigation of inclusions in minerals has, however pointed out that the state of the art existing viewing options are not sufficient. Rather, it may be necessary to have a sample of two im at right angles to each other can.
This object is achieved in that the table one in all three spatial directions relative to the table movable platform with an object holder for recording for example of mineral and rock samples is arranged and that the two mirrors are arranged on the table that by vertical and / or horizontal pivoting of the first mirror either an examination of the sample with one led only over the first mirror Imaging beam path or with one over both mirrors guided imaging beam path is possible, the two selectable viewing directions under one are at right angles to each other.
With this device it is therefore possible to connect one to two Areas of a cuboid specimen of inclusion assign a beam path to each surface, which corresponds to the Stereomicroscope is fed. Every beam path causes thus the mapping of the respective area in the Stereo microscope.
According to a special feature of the invention there is one Mirror to the other mirror at an angle of about 40 Degree. This special arrangement of the mirror system achieved that in the stereomicroscope, which is also on the Table is arranged, a spatial illustration of the mineral or rock sample, for example a crystal, appears.
According to a further feature of the invention, that is natural made of transparent crystal by a light source illuminated. As a result, the contrast sharpness of the Inclusion in the microscope increased significantly. As a light source can spotlights, for example Fiber optic spotlights are used.
According to a special feature of the invention is on the table a stand that can be swiveled horizontally over the sample arranged, the inclusion of a drill or one Extraction device, e.g. B. a pipette for the extraction of Inclusions. That means by adjusting the Platform in relation to the beam path of the microscope at the same time the stand, which is firmly connected to the table can also be height-adjustable, adjusted, so that the extraction can take place immediately.
According to a further advantageous feature of the invention an electronic one to the stereo microscope Documentation unit, consisting of video camera, monitor and VCR connected. The appear on the monitor two faces next to each other, either once Back and top, or the left side and the Top of the specimen. This type of illustration is traced the advantage, the inclusion of solutions and the opening of Drill hole on the top of the specimen simultaneously in the To have a field of vision.
In the drawing is an example embodiment shown.
Fig. 1 zeigt die Vorrichtung schematisch; Fig. 1 shows the device schematically;
Fig. 2 zeigt die auf dem Tisch angeordnete Plattform zur Aufnahme der Probe; Fig. 2 shows the platform arranged on the table for receiving the sample;
Fig. 3 shows schematically the beam path of the rays from the sample via the mirror system to the microscope.
From FIG. 1, the schematic arrangement of the entire device is obtained. Here, the stereomicroscope 2 arranged on the table labeled 1 is laterally seen directly above the mirror 3 . On the table 1 , the platform 4, which can be moved in three spatial directions relative to the table, can also be seen. Also shown schematically is the mirror 5 , which is arranged locally behind the platform 4 on the table.
A camera 6 , which is connected to a monitor 7 and a video recorder 8 , is connected to the stereomicroscope designated by 2 .
From Fig. 2, the construction of the platform designated by 4 is recognizable and their relative mobility in all three spatial directions with respect to the designated 1 table. The platform 4 is mounted displaceably in one plane in the holder 9 .
The displaceability of the platform 4 in the direction of this one spatial plane is effected by the spindle drive 10 . In this case, a guide part 11 is arranged under the platform 4 , which is guided in the holder 9 so as to be longitudinally displaceable by rails 12 .
The possibility of moving the platform 4 in the direction of the other spatial plane is made possible in that the holder 9 can also be moved on rails 14 relative to the table 1 by means of a spindle drive 13 . The vertical adjustability of the platform 4 is carried out by the spindle drive 15 . For this purpose, the platform 4 is detachable in the vertical direction and connected to the guide part 11 .
The specimen, designated 16 and arranged on the platform 4 , is fixed in its position by the object holder, designated as a whole 17 . The sample 16 is held here by the object holder by spring force. Seen locally behind the sample, the mirror 3 is located in a holder 18 . The mirror 3 is in this case rotatably mounted in the holder 18 about the horizontal axis 19 ; the holder itself, designated 18 , is designed to be pivotable about a vertical axis relative to the table 1 .
Der Sockel dient der verschwenkbaren Aufnahme des Ständers 21.Seen locally, the further mirror 5 is at right angles to the mirror 3 . The angle of reflection between the mirrors 5 and 3 is approximately 40 degrees, and is achieved here by a corresponding alignment of the mirror 5 , the mirror 5 being fixed in the position designated by 20 in the position corresponding to the angle of reflection. The base serves for the pivotable reception of the stand 21 .
The micro-drill is taken up by the stand 21 and subsequently the micro-pipette is taken up, if necessary, in order to extract the solution from the inclusion of the sample.
From Fig. 3, the schematic representation of the optical path from the resulting solution entrapment in the sample via the mirror system to the stereomicroscope. The beam 23 emanating from the solution inclusion 22 strikes the mirror 3 after penetration of the preparation side 16 a and is directed from there to the stereomicroscope. The preparation side 16 c is simultaneously made visible in the microscope or on the monitor by the beam 24 . The sample 16 itself is on the sample holder in a position relative to the mirror 3 , which enables both the preparation side 16 a and the preparation side 16 c to be detected by the mirror 3 . By pivoting the mirror 3 (dotted representation) can now the solution entrapment 22 b also in the preparation of the side 16 via the mirror 5 and 3 (beam 25) are made visible. In addition, the preparation side 16 c (beam 26 ) also appears in this pall in the microscope or on the monitor.
