Description

Verfahren zur Überführung der schwerlöslichen Bestandteile von. vegetabilischen Gerbstoffen in eine in Wasser leichtlösliche Form. Es wurde gefunden, daß die Säureharze, welche bei der Mineral- und Teerölreinigung entstehen (vgl. Patentschrift 262333) und welche für sich als Gerbmittel benutzt werden können, eine ganz besondere Wirkung auf eine Reihe von vegetabilischen Gerb- und Farbstoffen ausüben. Dasselbe gilt von Säureharzen, welche nicht auf dem angegebenen Wege gewonnen sind. Es sind besonders hierzu die Produkte verwendbar, welche durch Kondensation von sulfonierten natürlichen Kohlenwasserstoffen, wie Asphalt, Erdwachs, Zeresin oder Paraffin, hergestellt werden können (vgl. die französische Patentschrift 5157t3).Process for the transfer of the sparingly soluble components of. vegetable Tanning agents in a form readily soluble in water. Die Menge des Zusatzes dieses Gerbmitte.ls zum Zwecke des Lösens von vegetabilischen Gerbextrakten richtet sich ganz nach dem gewünschten Lösungsgrad des Extraktes. Zur Erzielung eines warmlöslichen Extraktes, der nur geringe Ausscheidungen in der Kälte gibt, genügen i bis 5 Prozent Gerbmittel. Zur Herstellung von kaltlöslichen Extrakten ist ein Zusatz von 1o bis 15 Prozent der Sulfosäureharze erforderlich. Auch wird der Löslichkeitsgrad und der Charakter des erhaltenen Gerbmittels durch die ganz oder teilweise vorgenommene Neutralisation der in den Säureharzen vorhandenen freien Sulfosäuren beeinflußt und erzielt man eine schnellere und leichtere Löslichkeit des Extraktes, je mehr die Sulfosäuren neutralisiert werden.It has now been found that the compounds mentioned have a dissolving effect on the sparingly soluble components of these tanning agents act and thus these tanning extracts into technically more valuable products.
