Abstract
Description
The invention relates to an air cargo container with a Device for keeping the cargo cool.
It is common for refrigerated goods to be stored in special containers on the Transported by land and sea. A common type of one Refrigerated containers for air freight is one of the luggage containers replicated in dimensions. Because this reefer on the plane in the same place as the air cargo container they must also have the same mechanical and meet static requirements. In addition comes that the refrigerated container holds up to 14 hours, at one Temperature of z. B. must keep 6 ° C.
As a rule, dry ice (CO 2 ) is used for cooling. In order to meet the strength requirements on the one hand and the cooling capacity on the other hand, a correspondingly large amount of material must be driven, which inevitably increases its own weight. As a rule, one can assume that a "light" refrigerated container weighs approximately 250 kg net today. For economic reasons, a container of this type must be in constant use to achieve profitability. This is not the case with smaller airlines.
The invention is based, without much effort the transport of sensitive goods such as plants, flowers, Meat to allow medicines. To solve this problem, those in the characterizing part of claim 1 features proposed.
Such a cooling insert for air freight containers allows it the existing air freight containers if necessary easy to convert into a refrigerated container. All strength requirements are met by the existing one Air cargo container met. The additional function The cooling insert according to the invention takes over “cooling”. The cooling insert is composed of individual elements, which have a heat-insulating structure and by means of a inflatable air cushion in the air cargo container be stabilized.
In the drawing, the invention is based on exemplary embodiments shown.

In essence, the cooling insert is shown in Fig. 1 consists of a floor element 1 to a roof element 2 and the various wall elements 3, each of which consists of a thermoplast of two deep-drawn bowls 4 and are filled after bonding together the inside with polyurethane foam. 5 With 6 a filler for the corner contour is designated. The wall thicknesses range from approx. 100 mm for the floor element 1 and 90 mm for the roof element 2 to 70 mm for the wall elements. The shape of the individual elements corresponds in their dimensions to the internal dimensions of the air freight containers, whereby a distance from the container walls of approx. 30-40 mm is taken into account for the effect of the air cushion. The assembly of the elements consists in that they engage with one another with their edges and are thereby stabilized with one another by inflating an air cushion between the cooling inserts and the container wall. In FIGS. 2a to 2d, the profiles A, B, C and D are the elements shown enlarged edges, which are indicated in Fig. 1 to the associated joints. On the edge formation D between wall element 3 d ( 3 f ) and filler 6 , a possible adhesive surface is provided at 7 .
A wall element 3 with an inflatable air cushion 8 is shown in FIGS . 3a + 3b. The air cushion 8 can be attached to the outermost shell 4 b of the wall element 3 via push buttons 9 . The air cushion 8 is inflated from the opposite side via a valve 10 which passes through the wall element centrally. The space between the air freight container wall is filled and the individual elements are jammed against each other by the pressure of the inflated air cushion. At the same time, the position of the cooling insert within the container is stabilized.
FIGS. 4 to 6 show a somewhat different structure . The construction of the plates is a sandwich structure with an inorganic mineral layer 11 arranged in the center of the plate and covered with honeycomb plates 12 a and 12 b on both sides. The outside of the honeycomb panels can be painted or decorated as required. The plates are connected to each other according to the "tongue and groove" principle. The connecting parts "tongue" 13 and "groove" 14, which are produced as thermoformed parts from thermoplastic foils, are connected by means of screw bolts 15 after being joined together. Fig. 5 shows the connection of roof plate 16 and bottom plate 17 with a wall plate 18. The bottom plate 17 has an aluminum corrugated sheet paneling 19 on the upper side in order to achieve better washing around the goods to be cooled. It also serves as mechanical protection for the floor. The door 20 of the cooling insert ( Fig. 6) is also closed according to the "tongue and groove principle", the roof panel and the side walls receiving the door, while the door on the base plate 17 is closed by means of 3 bolts 21 .
The embodiment shown in Fig. 4 as a cube has the advantage that the cooling insert can be used in more different types of containers, even if usable space is lost.
The coolant such as dry ice or gel can be in one on the Pressure plate attached wire mesh basket can be accommodated.
Der erfindungsgemäße Kühleinsatz hat folgende Vorteile:The cooling insert according to the invention has the following advantages:
- a) Eine amtliche Zulassung ist nicht mehr erforderlich, da diese bereits für den Container erfolgt ist, in welchen er eingebaut wird.a) Official approval is no longer required because this has already been done for the container in which it is installed.
If necessary, the cooling insert can be installed and also be removed again if the container is otherwise is needed.
