Da die Scharnierbänder auf wenigstens einer Seite bündig mit der Türoberfläche verlaufen, wird die Dichtung nicht durch diese Scharnierbänder aus ihrem Dichtungsverlauf ausgelenkt, kann also auch in diesem Bereich eine gute Abdichtwirkung erzielen. Aber auch bei leichtem Überstehen oder Zurückspringen der Bänder kann die elastische Dichtung dies ausgleichen. Die durch den Bolzen 5 gebildete Schwenkachse für die Ver­ schwenkung der beiden Scharnierbänder 3 und 4 relativ zu­ einander liegt innerhalb des Türausschnittes 9 und mit Ab­ stand zum scharnierseitigen Türrand 16, woraus sich eine gewisse Relativbewegung dieses Randes 16 beim Verschwenken der Türe in Offenstellung ergibt. Die Dichtung 17 hat dabei eine Lippe 18, die zumindest in Schließstellung der Türe 1 gemäß den Fig. 2 und 6 mit dem Rand 16 bzw. dem randnahen Bereich der Oberfläche der Türe 1 in Wirkverbindung ist. Ist die Türe geöffnet, kann man davon ausgehen, daß kein Wasser läuft und somit eine beim Öffnen der Türe erfolgende Ver­ formung der Dichtlippe 18 unschädlich ist. Gleichzeitig ist durch die bündige Aus­ bildung der Scharnierbänder auf wenigstens einer Seite mit der Türoberfläche eine gute Abdichtung der Türe in ihrer Schließstellung auch in diesem Bereich des Scharnieraus­ schnittes 9 möglich. Somit eignet sich dieses Scharnier 2 besonders gut für Duschkabinen.
