Abstract

A textile barrier for protection against any mechanical and/or thermal attack and applications of the barrier in the field of clothing and seats. It will find its application in many different fields such as clothing, furnishing, building, aeronautics, all kinds of transport and in general all applications in which it is necessary to have protection against, for example, attack by fire, explosion, projectiles, bullets, vandalism and the like. According to the invention, the textile protective barrier is in the form of at least one layer of nonwoven fibre of the aromatic polyamide type such as aramid.
