Abstract
The i.c. engine has a compressor in the suction manifold, consisting of a spiral rotor charger (1) with a slider (4) on its inlet side, shutting the inlet off completely or freeing it in a controlled manner. The slider also forms a throttle, controlling the intake to the engine and is controlled by the accelerator pedal.
