Gewichtsstücken zu beschweren oder sie in das eigentliche Belastungsgewicht fest
einzubetten. Diese Maßnahme hat zur Folge, daß der Taucher sich des Gewichtes 'allein
unter Wasser nicht ohne weiteres entledigen kann und im Notfalle mithin gezwungen
ist, das Gewicht samt den Flaschen abzuwerfen. Welche Gefahr für den Taucher hierin
liegt, wird offenbar, wenn man sich vorstellt, daB im Augenblick des Abwurfes des
Gewichtes der Inhalt aus den Hauptflaschen des Gerätes zur Neige geht' oder schon
erschöpft ist und der Sauerstoff mithin aus den von dein Gewicht umschlossenen zusätzlichen
