Gebrauchszwecken (z. B. als Pferdedeckengurt, Notsteigbügelriemen, Notzügel oder

Die Verbindung besteht aus einem kreisförmigen Herzstück a, das am
freien Ende des Unterriemens b befestigt ist. Der durch sie hindurchgezogene Halsriemen
c ist an der Durchzugsstelle abgerundet, damit der Riemen an beiden Seiten des Halses
glatt anliegt, ohne zu drücken. Der Halsriemen ist durch eine auf dem Sitzleder
des Sattels vorgesehene Schlaufe d hindurchgezogen und am Ende mit einer Schnalle
e versehen, die seitwärts vor dem Sattelblatt g .zu liegen kommt. Durch diese Anordnung
wird verhütet, daß sich der Halsriemen beim Auflegen oder Abnehmen des Sattels leicht
aus der Schlaufe d herauszieht, weil gemäß dem Ausführungsbeispiel auf der einen
Seite die Schnalle, auf der andern Seite das Herzstück ein nicht gezvolltes Durchziehen
verhindert. Will man das Vorderzeug lösen, so wird die Schnalle e gelöst und der
Halsriemen aus dem Herzstück und- dann aus dem Sattel gezogen. Der freie Halsriemen
kann nunmehr als Pferdedeckengurt oder auch als Notsteigbügelriemen oder als Notzügel
benutzt werden. In Verbindung mit dem Unterriemen gibt er ein Brustblatt und einen
Genickriemen für ein Sielengeschirr ab, das man nach Abb. 2 einrichten muß.The connection consists of a circular centerpiece a, which is attached to the
