Abstract
The bogie has two coupled wheel sets with the wheels rigidly fixed to the axles, each running in two bearings, in turn, coupled by primary springs to the frame. The coupling system comprises double-acting pneumatic or hydraulic rams (6) on the sides of the frames. They transmit the force from the bearing (3) of one wheel set to that on the same side on the other wheel set, but in the opposite direction. It incorporates two rods (5) extending in opposite directions, coupled to the respective bearing.
