Bei einer solchen Anordnung der Beleuchtungseinrichtung ist die Lichtausbeute und damit die Ausleuchtung des Wäschetrommel-Innenraumes relativ schlecht und damit unzureichend, so daß trotz Vorhandenseins einer Wäschetrommel-Beleuchtungseinrichtung beim Entnehmen der gewaschenen Wäsche aus der Wäschetrommel insbesondere kleine und dunkle Wäschestücke übersehen werden können. Des weiteren ist die Beleuchtungseinrichtung infolge der Anordnung am Laugebehälter während des Schleudervorganges erheblichen Erschütterungen ausgesetzt, was zu einem frühzeitigen Ausfall dieser und damit zu einem kostenintensiven Kundendienstfall führen kann.From DE-PS 10 51 234 a drum washing machine is known, which with an electric light source to illuminate the Laundry drum interior is equipped. Waschbehälter 5 und andererseits an der Frontseite 1 des Waschmaschinengehäuses 2 befestigt ist. Außerhalb des Laugen- bzw. Waschbehälters 5 und damit entfernt vom schwingenden System der Waschmaschine ist innerhalb des Waschmaschinengehäuses eine elektrische Lichtquelle 9 mit einem zugeordneten stabförmigen Lichtleiter 10 zum Be- bzw. Ausleuchten des Wäschetrommel-Innenraumes 11 angeordnet. Der Lichtleiter 10 ist zweckmäßig durch eine Verdickung 8′ der Faltenbalgdichtung 8 dicht hindurchgeführt und ist mit seinem Lichtauslaßbereich 12 in Richtung zur Innenseite der Rückwandung der Wäschetrommel 7 hin gerichtet. Stirnseitig beschickbare Trommelwaschmaschine mit einer elektrischen Lichtquelle zum Beleuchten des Wäschetrommel-Innenraumes, bei der die Wäschetrommel in einem Laugenbehälter drehbar angeordnet ist und sich zwischen dem Maschinengehäuse und dem Laugenbehälter um die Beschickungsöffnung eine Faltenbalgdichtung erstreckt und die Beschickungsöffnung durch ein bis zur Wäschetrommel reichendes topfartiges Bullaugentürfenster verschlossen ist, gekennzeichnet durch folgende Merkmale:
  • - die elektrische Lichtquelle (9) ist außerhalb des Laugenbehälters (5) vorgesehen,
  • - der Lichtquelle (9) ist ein Lichtleiter (10) zugeordnet,
  • - der Lichtleiter (10) ist durch die Faltenbalgdichtung (8) hindurchgeführt und ist mit seinem Lichtauslaßbereich (12) zur Innenseite der Wäschetrommel-Rückwand gerichtet.
