Trommel für Waschmaschinen und/oder Schleuderzentrifugen, bestehend aus zwei im Abstand voneinander angeordneten, durch eine siebartig gelochte Trommelwand miteinander verbundenen Trommelböden, von denen der eine eine Einfüllöffnung aufweist und der andere zur Halterung eines Lagerzapfens für die Drehlagerung der Trommel eingerichtet ist, wobei die Trommelwand mehrere, parallel zur Achse angeordnete Mitnehmerstege aufweist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die als U-förmige Erhebungen ausgebildeten Stege (2-5) wenigstens im Bereich der Rückenpartie aus einem elastischen Material bestehen.1.
