Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Belages für Tafelherde. Der Gegenstand des Patents 373727 betrifft ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Belages für Tafelherde, wobei auf die Herdunterlage zunächst eine Schicht Hartpech oder ähnliches Material aufgebracht und darauf Asphalt aufgestampft wird. Bei der praktischen Ausübung des Verfahrens war von der Verwendung von Gußasphalt aus dem Grunde abgesehen worden, weil Gußasphalt einen höheren Erweichungsgrad hat als Stampfasphalt, und die Befürchtung besteht, daß bei Erweichung des Belages, insbesondere im Sommer, der Aufbereitungsprozeß undurchführbar sei. Tatsächlich genügt jedoch die durch die Trübe ausgeübte Kühlung, um auch 'Gußasphaltbelage in einwandfreier Weise betriebsfähig zu erhalten. Demzufolge richtet sich das vorliegende Zusatzpatent darauf, daß die Ausführung des Verfahrens des Hauptpatentes unter, Verwendung von Gußasphalt erfolgt. In Fällen, wo die so hergestellte Decke nicht den genügenden Rauhigkeitsgrad besitzt, kann diesem Erfordernis durch sanftes Scheuern mit einem Sandwassergernisch entsprochen werden. Im allgemeinen aber genügt die -im Betrieb erfolgte abscheuernde Wirkung, namentlich der Gangart an sich, um der Gußasphaltoberfläche den erforderlichen Rauhigkeitsgrad zu geben.Process for the production of a topping for table stoves.
