There are multi-digit railway signals with! Power drive known, which by a in j
its direction of rotation variable motor loading | be moved away and with those except the two!
End positions an intermediate position of the signal is possible. The engine is here '
switched off by switches mostly controlled by him when the desired position is reached, i
About the motor running away over the desired position under the effect of its inertia
To prevent it, you can arrange an electromagnetic braking device, which works when there is no current
occurs and brakes the motor, but maintains this current when the motor starts and j
solves.
einer Durchfahrtstellung selbsttätig in die j Haltelage zurückgehen, sobald der die Frei- ;
artigen Schaltung für dreistellige Eisenbahn- j signale, bei denen dem Motor über drei Lei- ;
For many purposes it is now advantageous not to allow this brake magnet to act by interrupting the current, but rather by a short circuit. Such a device is particularly useful for signals that affect the status of the next signal, such as B. in the automatic train protection. Here, the signal from the driving and 'a drive-through position must automatically return to the j stop position as soon as the free; position causing current is switched off. According to the invention, in a circuit of this type for three-digit railway signals, in which the motor has three lines; obligations current is supplied, the brake \ solenoid such between two Leitun- j gen connected that he at switching of ■ wires from the engine as soon as the overall! wish a signal position giving a driving license has been reached, this switch is switched in front of the engine, which activates and brakes the engine.
I und II durchlaufe.
In the drawing, an embodiment of the invention is shown, 1, 2 and 3
are the three lines that connect the signal box to the motor 4. 5 and 6
are the two side windings of the motor for clockwise or counterclockwise rotation. 7, 8, 9 and |
10 are those controlled in a known manner by the motor when a certain signal position is reached
Toggle switch. 11 and 12 are the switches controlled by the motor relay. 13 is
the brake solenoid, which is connected to lines 14 and 15 between lines 2
and 3 is switched. It is assumed that the train has two lines one behind the other
I and II run through. If route I is free, switch 11 is switched over (like
Fig. 1 represents), and a current runs through switches 11, 12, line 2, switch 9,
Winding 6 via motor 4. This goes into the driving position. At the beginning there is a switch
7 and when the drive position is reached, switch 9 is thrown by the engine. This creates a current flow via line 2, 14, 15,
Switch 10, winding 6, motor 4 to earth (Fig. 2). The brake magnet 13 receives
Current and keeps the signal in the driving position. If route II is free, then switch 12 is also thrown, creating a current
via line 3, switch 10, winding 6 and motor 4 (Fig. 3). Of the
Current through brake magnet 13 is initially switched off because it is short-circuited
is. The motor 4 continues to run and in the beginning throws switch 8 and brings the signal
in the position "passage". When this position is reached, the switches 10 are from
Motor turned over, whereby the brake magnet 13 again via line 3, 15, 13, 14 switch
8 is switched in front of the motor 4 and holds the signal in its position (Fig. 4).
If line I is occupied, the switch is switched over by the motor relay
11, so that the motor 4 via the line 1,
Switch 7 and the winding 5 receives current away and moves the signal back into the holding position.
