Description

Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Düngemittels. Die Erfindung bezweckt, handelsüblichen Kalkstickstoff in eine haltbare körnige Masse zu verwandeln, welche nur wenig Dicyandiamid enthält.Process for the production of a fertilizer. Die zunächst erfolgende Durchfeuchtung mit ungefähr 7 Prozent Wasser geschieht in beliebigen Vorrichtungen, z. B. in den Fördereinrichtungen für den Kalkstickstoff. Während des Lagerns des durchfeuchteten Gutes in etwa 15 cm starker Schicht unterliegt dieses nur geringer oder gar keiner Durcharbeitung. Die dem Cyanamid zugesetzte Wassermenge von etwa 7 Prozent genügt, um den vorhandenen freien Kalk fast vollständig in Hydrat zu verwandeln, und darf jedenfalls die dazu erforderliche Menge nicht übersteigen. Die Temperatur der Masse darf ioo - erreichen, aber nicht darüber hinausgehen. Nach dieser ersten Behandlung bleibt das Cyanamid als Pulver zurück.
