Abstract

The hand operated protection switch has a manual operation bar (6) rotating on a part (7) of the switch's casing about an axis (5) at right angles to the fixing plane (8) of the switch (1). The overcurrent release block (2) slides on the casing next to the projecting part (7) parallel to the axis (5) of the bar. A safety device (11) covers the casing around the bar in the manner of a frame and has a window (12) for the bar that forms a hole for the bar in the zero position. With the bar in its on position the release block is secured against removal from the switch by the bar.
