Abstract

The parabolic aerial (2) is secured to a vertical tube (9) by fittings which enable it to be adjusted in all directions. The U-shaped strap and cross plate (12) with wing nuts (13) form a height adjustable connection. A horizontal connection between the tube and the aerial includes another U-shaped strap (4) with one end connected to the first strap and its free ends secured to two parallel vertical flanges (3) on the rear of the aerial. Passing through the overlapping zone between the flanges and the free ends is a bolt (6) at right angles to the tube, forming a horizontal axis of tilt (D) for the aerial. At right angles to this bolt is a locking bolt (36) attached to one of the flanges, with a nut (35) at its outer end, with a flange which fits into a vertical slot in one of the free ends of the second strap.
