Abstract
In the device, which has a built-in flush-mounted mixing fitting (1) with two feed pipes (3, 4), at least one mixing pipe (9) and possibly a thermostat (2), a rinsing fitting (10, 11) can be screwed into the seating of a sieving and back-pressure valve insert or the like when the latter has been unscrewed from the feed pipes (3, 5, 7; 4, 6, 8) and, like a two-way valve, it has a first rinsing position in which the liquid can be drained from the feed pipe (3, 4) through the rinsing fitting (10) while the mixing pipe (9) is closed and a second rinsing position in which the mixing pipe (9) is open when the rinsing fitting (11) is closed and the liquid can be drained from the feed pipe through the mixing pipe (9). The device opens up the possibility of cleaning the pipes or water pipes with some of the feed pipes and the remainder of the feed pipes with the mixing pipe or pipes by rinsing them through consecutively. <IMAGE>
