Abstract

Description

Bei Starkstromkabeln besteht bekanntlich das Problem, daß das Kabel beim Verlegen durch Reibung aufgeladen wird. Dabei besteht die Gefahr, daß über eine Person eine Entla­ dung des Leiters und/oder Schirms des Kabels zur Erde er­ folgt. Dadurch kann ein unerwünschter Schreck ausgelöst werden, der möglichst verhindert werden soll.The problem with power cables is known to be that the cable is charged by friction during installation. Ein Starkstromkabel besteht gemäß Fig. 1 im allgemeinen aus einem Leiter 1, einer Isolierung 2, einem Schirm 3 und einem Außenmantel 4. Der Leiter 1 besteht beispielsweise aus Kupfer oder Aluminium. Die Isolierung 2 besteht bei­ spielsweise aus VPE oder PVC. Der Schirm 3 besteht bei­ spielsweise aus Kupferdrähten oder Kupferbändern. Bei Ver­ wendung von Kupferdrähten für den Schirm werden diese durch Querleitbänder miteinander elektrisch verbunden. Besteht der Schirm des Kabels aus Kupferbändern, so sind die Kupfer­ bänder so aufgebracht, daß sie sich überlappen. Wird der Außenmantel 4 beim Verlegen gerieben, so entsteht durch die mechanische Reibung eine statische Ladung auf dem Außen­ mantel 4, die eine Ladung auf dem Schirm 3 bzw. Leiter 1 induziert. Kommt eine Person beim Verlegen des Kabels mit dem Leiter 1 oder Schirm 3 in Berührung, so wird die Ladung auf dem Schirm 3 oder Leiter 1 in unerwünschter Weise über die Person zur Erde abgeleitet.A power cable is shown in FIG. 1 is generally made of a conductor 1, an insulator 2, a screen 3 and an outer jacket 4. Die leitfähige Masse 6, die z. B. aus leitendem Silicongummi besteht, steht mit dem Leiterende und dem Schirmende des Kabels in Verbindung. Gemäß der Erfindung ist eine Durchführung 7 vorgesehen, die mit der leitenden Masse 6 elektrisch leitend ver­ bunden ist und die Ladung vom Leiter 1 und/oder Schirm 3 des Kabels über die leitende Masse 6 nach außen abführt. Die Kappe 5 ist beispielsweise so ausgebildet, daß sie mach dem Aufbringen auf das Kabel im Preßsitz auf dem Ka­ bel aufsitzt.
