Description
The invention relates to an improvement to a rock drill, its drill bit a beveled central zafan, breaking edges according to patent 303030 and external teeth with Has radially placed cutting edges. The same thing consists in the fact that the in itself is known Way made of flat material drill blade is placed so that its on both sides of the central tooth located outer teeth according to the course of the winding of the drill shaft are directed opposite to each other. This not only does an extremely stable one, but also one for the removal of the loosened rock masses A beneficial blade that can be re-sharpened many times without any noticeable change their shape and effect.
The drawing shows the new drill.
Abb. Fig. Ι shows an elevation, Fig. 2 is a plan and Fig. 3 is a side view. The 2 S blade is easily detachably attached to the drill shaft α , which is helically wound in a known manner. The blade consists of flat material and the outer teeth c 1 are directed opposite to one another in accordance with the course of the turns of the drill shank. This shape of the blade gives the external teeth, which are subject to heavy loads, a much greater stability, but also a better cutting and conveying effect, because the oblique direction of the teeth significantly increases the chest angle of the cutting edges. The outer teeth c 1 have the same thickness in their entire extent as the blade itself, so that even with frequent regrinding there is no need to fear any changes in terms of strength and effectiveness. To support the blade, a groove d? provided with holding jaws a 3 . The out of the groove a? 45 protruding corners of the blade have been cut away and adapted to the shaft thread with appropriate bevels & *, so that an unhindered drainage of the loosened rock soil is guaranteed. The easily detachable connection between the blade and the shaft is brought about by a split pin.
