In the manufacture of coating agents, the alkyd resins should as a binder z. B. in paints for indoor and outdoor use no more than 10 to 15% by weight organic solution medium, especially based on hydrocarbons (white spirit) included to paint with high solids content, good ver spreadability, high gloss, good drying and good body to get so that environmentally friendly paints (clearcoats, pig mented paints) with the specified low solvent Salary will be made available that meet the requirements of the Federal Environment Agency in Berlin for the recognition of the Qua fulfill the qualification "Blue Angel".

Fatty acids from na suitable for the alkyd resin according to the invention Natural drying oils rich in linoleic acid are soybean oil fatty acids re, sunflower oil fatty acid, tall oil fatty acid, safflower oil fatty acid.
J 57 028 165 contains an aqueous coating agent together settlement from a) a polyalcohol z. B. Glycerin, Pentacry thritol, trimthylolpropane, propanetriol, b) polycarboxylic acid e.g. B. (iso) phthalic acid, trimellitic acid, tetrahydrophthalic acid, Maleic acid, c) a denatured oil component e.g. B. China- Wood oil, castor oil, linseed oil, soybean oil, tall oil, cotton oil and the free acids of these oils, d) cyclopentadiene synthetic resins Softening points at 80-150 ° C, which are reaction products are available. J 52 151 390 relates to an alkyd resin solution high solid content. First a base alkyd from 1) Polycarboxylic acids e.g. B. malonic acid, succinic acid, adipine acid, phthalic acid, trimellitic acid, pyromellitic acid, 2) Polyols and epoxides e.g. B. glycerin, pentacrythritol, trie ethylene glycol, epoxidized linseed oil, polyglycidyl ether or Bisphanol and the like., 3) oils, fatty acids, natural resin and Phenolic resin, e.g. B. soybean oil, linseed oil, tolubal oil, toluene balm, Vegetable resin, shellac and the like in inert solvents, made at 180-300 ° C; then this base alkyd resin heated to carry out a transesterification and then that Inert solvent distilled off so far that in the resin solution a solid of at least 60 wt .-% is present. J 60 147 432 describes a three-stage implementation for recycling of polyethylene terephthalic acid waste. In the first Stage becomes pentaerythritol with a fatty acid at 200-300 ° C implemented for esterification. In the second stage, 100 Parts of the esterification product with 50-300 parts by weight of poly ethylene terephthalate wastes added and at 200-300 ° C around esterified. In the third stage, the resin obtained intermediate with a polycarboxylic acid, e.g. B. phthalic acid, Trimellitic acid and the like. None of the above existing literature is the task of the present Invention according to paragraphs 1 to 4 and its solution described still suggests. It is surprising that it is through "a happy grip" with very fine tuning of the individual components and the implementation of the process is to manufacture alkyd resin products that compared to the products known from the prior art have particularly excellent properties.

The alkyd resins are produced in the synthetic resin industrial boilers. There will be components - except Trimellitic anhydride - filled in the kettle and tempered Ren heated from 200 ° C to 260 ° C until the acid number below 10 is. Then in the course of 30 to 90 minutes the tri mellitic anhydride and optionally the triphenyl phosphite under Stirring was poured in portions while maintaining the temperature. As soon as the reaction is finished, it takes about 3 to 6 hours 250 ° C are required, after the usual cooling to about 200 ° C are filtered. The end of the implementation is through Bestim determination of the acid number.
