Description

Verfahren zur Herstellung hochviskoser Schmiermittel aus Teerölen. Während bisher bei der Behandlung mit Luft so vorgegangen wurde, daB sich eine möglichst intensive Oxydation ergab, indem der Luftstrom durch das Ölbad geblasen oder umgekehrt das öl in fein verteiltem Zustande durch den Luftstrom geführt wurde, wird nach der Erfindung der Luftstrom lediglich über das in einem Behälter befindliche Ölbad geleitet. Es hat sich gezeigt, daß auf diese Weise die bei dem bekannten Verfahren sich stets ergebende Überoxydation, welche die Schmierfähigkeit beeinträchtigende asphaltartige Körper erzeugt, vermieden wird und lediglich die Körper von weichperhartiger Beschaffenheit- entstehen, welche die Zähflüssigkeit des Öls bedingen.
