Description
Elektrische Glimmlichtlampe für niedrige Spannungen, bei der das negative Glimmlicht leuchtet. Die Erfindung! betrifft eine elektrische Gas-Lampe, bei welcher das negative Glimmlicht zur Lichterzeugung nutzbar gemacht wird. Im Gegensatz zu den bisher bekannten Lampen dieser Art werden nach der Erfindung lange Röhren mit entsprechend langen Kathoden, welche die Röhren der Länge nach durchziehen, verwendet. Es gelingt auf diese Weise, Röhren von beträchtlicher Länge mit den üblichen Spannungen der Lichtleitungen zu betreiben, insbesondere wenn zur Füllung Ed'eligas verwendet wird, und wenn gleichzeitig ,durch entsprechende Anordnung der Anode dafür gesorgt wird, daß der Kathodenfall nicht oder nur in geringem, Grade anormal wird. Zu diesem Zweck durchzieht entweder auch die Anode die Röhre der ganzen Länge nach in geringem Abstand von der Kathode, oder es werden längs der Röhre mehrere Anoden, welche außerhalb derselben elektrisch leitend verbunden sind, in regelmäßigen Zwischenräumen eingeführt. Unter Umständen kann man geeignete Widerstände in die einzelnen Anodenzweige einschalten. Die Elektroden können .n an sich bekannter Weise netzförmlig sein, z.
