Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a CO 2 treatment method, in particular for achieving cosmetic, relaxing and sexually stimulating effects, in which CO 2 is brought to the body of the person to be treated or parts thereof, and means for carrying out this method.
It is known that a CO 2 treatment in which this gas is absorbed through the skin can have beneficial effects in human organism. Such a treatment creates a pleasant, warm feeling in the skin. A reduction in the plasma adrenaline level is found during everyday stress. General relaxation, sedation and a sexually stimulating effect are observed. In addition, targeted medical effects can be achieved.
It is known to carry out such a CO 2 treatment in a CO 2 water bath. However, only a relatively low concentration of CO 2 can be achieved. In order to be able to dissolve a sufficient amount of CO 2 in water, it is necessary to keep the water temperature in the cold area. A dangerous concentration of the CO 2 gas can arise above the water surface, which can lead to headaches, in extreme cases, to life, can lead. In contrast to the blood pressure-lowering effect of the CO 2 absorbed through the skin, inhaled CO 2 causes an increase in blood pressure. Every movement in the water bath releases CO 2 . This leads to a reduction in the CO 2 concentration in the water and thus to a devaluation of the bath. Every movement in the bathroom also leads to an undesirable increase in the relatively dangerous concentration of CO 2 on the water surface.
Open CO 2 gas treatment is also known. This gas bath is used as a bath, sitting or group bath. Such a gas bath has the advantage over the CO 2 water bath that the hydrostatic pressure is eliminated. However, the risk of inhalation of CO 2 is particularly great. This gas is only about 1.5 times as heavy as air and therefore sediments very slowly. In the event of careless movement, the CO 2 can escape from the tub or near the floor, mix with the room air and be inhaled.
With the CO 2 gas treatment, the skin of the person to be treated remains dry. There is therefore a very low CO 2 absorption, which is much smaller than that of the CO 2 water bath. Both the treatment in the CO 2 water bath and the CO 2 gas treatment require constant supervision of the person to be treated. In both cases, the treatment can only be carried out in certain rooms and he requires specialist staff.
The object of the present invention is now to further develop the CO 2 treatment method of the type mentioned in such a way that it maintains the already known advantageous, also medical, treatment effects with simple means, inter alia, in cosmetics and massage salons as well as from treating person can be carried out safely. Furthermore, particularly suitable means should be specified for carrying out this method.
The above object is achieved according to the invention in a method of the type mentioned in the introduction in that the body or the part to be treated is tightly enclosed with a gas-tight envelope and thus a gas-tight space is formed between the body or the body part and the envelope in which then CO 2 is introduced, part of which is absorbed through the skin of the person being treated during the treatment period.
This treatment does not require specialists and does not have to be carried out in special rooms. Rather, the treatment process can be carried out in practically any room, and the patient can lie, sit or stand. The costs of such a treatment are very low compared to the CO 2 water bath. The absorption of CO 2 is particularly good because sweat escapes under the gas-tight envelope, which improves the degree of hydration of the skin of the person to be treated.
The new method can be ap for specific parts of the body be copied.
The method according to the invention can also be carried out in this way that treatment over a period of 20 to 30 minutes is carried out. This period has usually turned out to be Proven appropriate, but can go up without complications or exceeded below.
The treatment method according to the invention can also be carried out so that it is carried out at ambient temperature. This is seen by a person to be treated in particular as an advantage over the treatment in the CO 2 water bath.
The featured for performing the method of the invention seen means are characterized by the fact that they from a best tubular, sack or pants-shaped gas-tight film hen, for the opening (s) provided a sealing closure hen is. So if only one leg or one arm is treated should then come in particular bag-shaped films in Be garb that is pulled over the leg or arm and on hers be closed at the top. Thus, individual bodies per parts are treated for themselves.
The entire body can also be covered with such a covering be, whereby then a closure in the neck area follows. Finally, the cover can also be formed in a trouser shape be det, being tight at all openings after application is to be closed.
The means provided according to the invention can be designed in this way be that the closure of a Velcro and / or a Rubber band is formed. In this way, the closing the shell on the body is greatly simplified.
Es zeigt:In the following part of the description, embodiments become of the treatment method according to the invention and means for Carrying out this procedure using drawings wrote. It shows:

Fig. 2 eine zu behandelnde Person, bei der eine hosenför mige Hülle am Körper angebracht ist und Fig. 2 is a person to be treated, in which a hosenför shaped shell is attached to the body and
Fig. 3 shows a treatment person whose body, except for the head, is encased in a sack-shaped casing.
The envelopes shown in the figures are made of a gas permeable plastic film formed. They are in their dimensions anatomically adapted.
Fig. 1 shows a tubular sheath 1 , which is fitted to an arm and is sealed and closed at its upper end by means of a closure belt 2 on the arm. This fastener strap 2 is a Velcro strap or a rubber band.
Fig. 1 further shows a sack-shaped sleeve 3 , which can be pulled up on one leg and at its upper end in the area of the thigh by means of a closure belt 4 seals and is closed.
Fig. 2 shows a trousers-shaped case 5 , which is provided in the area of the legs as well as in the body area with closure belts 6 with which the case 5 can be sealed and gas-tight closed.
Fig. 3 finally shows a sack-like envelope 7 , which is tightly closed in the neck region of the person to be treated by means of a closure belt 8 .
To carry out the method according to the invention, a hose, not shown in the figures, is inserted into the casing in the region of a fastening belt. This hose is connected to a CO 2 container. Now gas is introduced into the shell from the CO 2 container. It is not necessary to inflate the envelope with the gas. Rather, an amount of 3-5 liters is usually sufficient, especially since only the amount of CO 2 directly acting on the skin is effective. The treatment time is preferably 20-30 minutes and is carried out at ambient temperature.
The covers can be quickly and easily ge after treatment be solved.
To carry out this method, it is not necessary to undress the person to be treated or to completely expose the body parts to be treated, since the CO 2 will usually penetrate the clothing.
