Dies bedeutet, daß innerhalb eines Gestrickes die jeweiligen Strickgarne sich in Form von langen Schlaufen von Rapportbereich zu Rapportbereich längs eines oder beider Ränder des Gestrickstückes erstrecken. Dies hat erhebliche Nachteile bei der Weiterverarbeitung bzw. Konfektionierung der Gestrickstücke, da diese Garnschlaufen dabei nicht nur hinderlich sind, sondern auch insoweit besonders nachteilig sind, weil sich dann, wenn an den Fadenschlaufen, weil man unabsichtlich hängen geblieben ist, gezogen wird, sich mehrere Maschen innerhalb des Gestrickes irreparabel zusammenziehen. Dabei muß das Strickgarn, das mit einer bestimmten Fadenspannung zugeführt wird, vor dem Abschneiden mit Hilfe einer Klemmvorrichtung geklemmt werden, damit das abgeschnittene Fadenende nicht durch den Fadenführer rutschen kann. Bei einer Einrichtung nach der JP-U-59/33 787 sind zu beiden Seiten und außerhalb des Nadelraumes jeweils eine Schneidvorrichtung und eine Klemmvorrichtung vorgesehen, die das vom Fadenführer kommende abgeschnittene Ende solange hält, bis dieser Faden wieder verstrickt bzw. der Fadenführer wieder in Tätigkeit gebracht wird. Soll in einer der in den Fig. 1 und 2 dargestellten Weise ein Strickgarn 326 (oder der Trennfaden) um das Umlenkfingerelement (Schneidnadel 56) mit Hilfe des betreffenden Fadenführers gelegt werden, wenn das Strickgarn 326 des Gestrickstückbereich 341 nach dem anschließenden Gestrickstückbereich 342 wieder verstrickt werden soll, dann läuft folgendes ab: In einer Bewegungsrichtung der Schloßschlittenanordnung wird die Schneidnadel 56 gemäß Fig. 4B bzw. 5A in Fangstellung oder RR-Stellung ausgetrieben und in der Rückbewegung legt der bisher abgestellte Fadenführer 321 das Strickgarn 326 um den Kopf 61 der Schneidnadel 56; nachdem gemäß Fig. 4C das Strickgarn 326 in der ersten Reihe des folgenden Gestrickstückbereiches über einige Nadeln 316 verstrickt ist, wird bei einer Mehrschloßmaschine mit einem dem ersten Schloßsystem nachfolgenden Schloßsystem die Schneidnadel 56 nochmal ausgetrieben und die Schneidplatine 58 ebenfalls ausgetrieben, wobei gleichzeitig die beiden Nadelbetten 312, 313 zueinander derart versetzt werden, daß sich die einander zugewandten Seitenflächen von Schneidnadel 56 und Schneidplatine 58 berühren. Mit dem Austreiben dieser beiden Elemente 56 und 58 gelangt das abzuschneidende Strickgarn 326 zwischen die beiden Schneidenkanten 63 und 66 von Schneidnadel 56 und Schneidplatine 58 und wird dadurch abgeschert.
