Handle made of two interlocking pipes for supplying and removing the
Compressed air and exhaust air for compressed air tools.
Addendum to Patent 368 [1o. In -the subject according to: the main patent is on a compressed air tool in the manner of a wedge pick the handle of two interlocking, after .dem end tapered tubes made of welded thin sheets with tearing of webs-to form an annular space. As already explained in the main patent, such a handle is suitable for: intercepting the penetrating dirt, but because of its double-walled structure it presents difficulties for the removal of the solid constituents that have been separated out. According to the invention. Valve seats are now inserted into the inner jacket and screwed to the jacket, expediently with the interposition of a welded collar or bushing body, and the outer jacket is interrupted by denting, so that the resulting collar of the outer jacket can be sealed by welding to the inner jacket . You can comfortably get to the inner valves - from the outside despite the double-walled structure - and let the deposited dust blow out here and, on the other hand, introduce oil into an oil container provided for this purpose to lubricate the hammer. For the separation of the finer. Components a larger room is switched on, in which the air passing through comes to rest to some extent. This space is created in the inner tube by inserting two partition walls, one partition wall being preceded by a coarse separator: and the other partition wall being followed by the oil container - Here the coarse separator is designed so that the air is first guided around and then through a cone hood in reverse paths , whereby the free passage cross-section narrows to the greatest extent of the cone circumference so that the very coarse admixtures are mechanically retained, thereby narrowing the cross-section and forcing the worker to clean the handle because of the interruption of the hammer work. The middle admixtures are deposited on the first partition wall due to the impact when the movement is reversed; while the pre-cleaned air enters the cone and from there: passes through a dip tube into the large collecting space. Here, the calming air settles the rest of the dust-like additions and enters the hammer body through a pipe or a group of pipes in the oil container. There are a few fine holes in the oil container through which the stream of air moving sharply past constantly takes small drops 01 out of the container and carries them with it. The medium and fine dust is blown out by the internal overpressure as soon as the aforementioned valve is opened from the outside. The oil filling can also be introduced by pressing down the valve on the oil container.
The drawing shows an exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention
shown in a central longitudinal section.
The double-walled handle i is screwed onto the handle attachment 3 of the hammer 4 by means of the nipple 2 and has a welded-in nipple 5 for the hose connection on the opposite side. The two walls 6 and 7 of the hammer handle are connected to one another by inserted webs 8 and: stiffened by welding. With the miners' habit of carrying the free tool with the cutter blade upwards and occasionally leaning on it, rock, coal and dust get through the nipple into the inside of the handle and if, as usual: the shutter is missing the coarse components thereof are retained by the cone 9. The remaining dust passes through the air slot io into the space il and deposits the central grain there, while the air with the fine dust enters the interior of the cone g and the immersion tube 29 in the direction of the arrow and through the bores 12 into the larger central space 13 emerges, where the fine dust can also precipitate due to the calm that ensues. On the partition wall 14 - to which the air ducting device is welded - there is a ball valve 15 which plays in the bush 16 and rests on the valve seat 18 under the pressure of the spring 17. The outer wall 7 .of the shank is perforated at this point and flanged inwards suffering with the edges 9 of the flange 1 Fung 2o welded to the inner tube. 6 The same is done with the perforation 21 on the oil container 22, where a spring-loaded ball valve 23 is also seated on a screw-in valve seat 24. The air exits the collecting space 13 in a strong draft through the pipe 25 of the oil container 22 and. takes the oil into the hammer through the opening 26. The opening 27 is intended to allow air to enter in place of the removed oil. The oil tank is made up of the two partition walls 27 and 28 and the through pipe 25.
