Die Erfindung betrifft einen aufserordentlich sicheren und leicht zu handhabenden Verschlufs eines Elementes, vermöge dessen eine Verunreinigung, z. B. durch ausgeschüttete Flüssigkeit etc., nicht vorkommen kann und nach erfolgter Erschöpfung die Erneuerung leicht zu bewerkstelligen ist.The invention relates to an extremely secure and easy-to-use lock of an element by virtue of which an impurity, e.g. B. by spilled liquid etc., cannot occur and after exhaustion, the renewal is easy to accomplish.

Die negative Elektrode wird durch den zugleich zur Aufnahme der erregenden Flüssigkeit dienenden, unten geschlossenen, hohlen Zinkcylinder α gebildet, der an seinem oberen Ende mit einer ringförmigen Aushöhlung b versehen ist, die zur Aufnahme des Dichtungsringes des Verschlusses geeignet ist; gl ist die Klemmschraube für die Elektrode. Die Verbindung der beiden Elektroden zwecks Erreichung eines sicheren, dabei leicht zu handhabenden Verschlusses ohne jede Verschraubung etc. geschieht in der Weise, dafs der Hartgummicylinder e in seinem oberen Theil zu einem Konus h ausgebildet ist, welcher durch eine ausgedrehte Kehlung i in die Platte k übergeht. Der Dichtungsring Z aus Gummi wird um den Konus gelegt und beim Eindrücken der Elektrode c durch den Konus und die obere Rundkante des Zinkcylinders derart zusammengedrückt, dafs der Ring nach unten ausweichen mufs und dabei in die Ausdrehung b des Zinkcylinders, sowie in die Kehlung i über dem Konus gelangt, und dadurch den in Fig. 1 veranschaulichten Verschlufs herstellt. Beim Oeffnen desselben wird der Dichtungsring durch die Randkante des Zinkcylinders wieder über den Konus gewälzt und so weit nach unten gestreift, dafs die Elektrode mit dem Stöpsel herausgezogen werden kann.The positive electrode consisting of specially prepared sheet metal is fastened in a suitable manner on the hard rubber rod e and brought into conductive connection through the wire / with the terminal g of the electrode.
