Abstract

1. Flushing device with bell shaped float for toilet cisterns, comprising : - an external tubular casing (1) equipped with an inflated lower section or external bell-shaped section (1b) intended for use in a cistern (8-8a) : - a base (7) equipped with a central opening (0) which constitutes the drain outlet of the cistern and a mounting device (17) which attaches it to the base of the external bell-shaped section (1b) in such a manner as to allow it to move : this base is fixed rigidly over the lower opening (11) of the cistern ; - a moving unit (2-3-4) which is capable of transverse movement, housed inside the external casing, and comprising a valve (3) which closes the drain outlet, disposed at the lower end of an overflow pipe (2) which is open at both ends and the lower end of which is equipped with a bell-shaped float (4) disposed around the lower part of the said overflow pipe and housed in the external bell-shaped section (1b) of the rigid casing (1), an annular gap (a) being formed between the cylindrical lateral walls (4d, 1b'') of the said internal bell-shaped float (4) and the said external bell-shaped section (1b) ; while another annular gap (d) is formed between the upper section of the overflow pipe and the upper section (1a) of the said external casing : characterized in that the lower section of the bell-shaped flat (4) is equipped with a sealing collar (4b) the diameter of which is slightly smaller than the internal diameter of the cylindrical unit (16) of the fixed piece of the device in which it moves, so that a very slight gap, which is necessary to allow the axial movement of the bell-shaped float, is formed between the edge of the sealing collar and the internal wall of the cylindrical unit.
