Schutzhülle für Isolierungen gegen Wärmeaustausch. Der Erfindung gemäß wird eine Schutzhülle für Isolierungen gegen Wärmeaustausch dadurch gebildet, daß auf eine die Isolierung bedeckende erstarrte poröse Schicht aus streich- oder gußfähiger Masse (z. B. aus Traß, Kalk und` Kieselgur, mit Wasser angerührt) eine mit wasserdicht machenden Stoffen (z. B. einer Mischung von Kreide, Kolophonium, Bernsteinlack und Leinöl) getränkte Faserschicht in noch feuchtem, möglichst heißfeuchtem Zustande aufgelegt wird. Diese Schutzhülle ist so fest mit der darunter befindlichen porösen Schicht verbunden, daß sie sich von dieser überhaupt nicht mehr trennen läßt. Die Tränkungsmasse der Faserschicht ist nämlich zum Teil in die poröse Schicht eingedrungen, wobei :diese gleichzeitig bis zu einer gewissen Tiefe erhärtet worden ist. Die Schmiegsamkeit und die Isolierwirkung wird hierdurch nicht beeinträchtigt, aber der Schutz gegen äußere mechanische Beanspruchungen und vor allem gegen das Eindringen von Feuchtigkeit erheblich gesteigert.Protective cover for insulation against heat exchange.
