Abstract

Die Geometrie der Schnittmesser, die Lage der Schneid­ kanten und die Anordnung der Messer ist in Fig. 1b prinzi­ piell dargestellt. Durch Rotation der Welle, hervorgerufen durch ein Antriebselement (Elektro, Benzin- Diesel- oder Hydro­ motor) wird das sich im Luftstrom befindliche Laub von den rotierenden, sichelförmigen Messern (Fig. 1b) zerkleinert. Das zerkleinerte Laub wird mittels eines Gebläses (5), das sich zwischen Antriebselement (8) und Messerwerk (4) befindet, zur Auslaßöffnung (6) im Luftstrom transportiert und ausge­ blasen. Hier kann es beispielsweise in Säcke abgefüllt werden. Im Schnitt­ kanal sitzen auf einer Sechskantwelle (3) ca. 20 Stück Schnitt­ messer (4) um jeweils 45 Grad versetzt. Der Messerabstand wird durch Distanzscheiben (7) erzeugt. Durch die besondere Geometrie der Schnittmesser (4) und der Drehbewegung der Welle (3) im Luftstrom wird das Laub zerkleinert. Über ein Gebläse (5) kommt das zerkleinerte Gut zur Auslaßöffnung (6).
