Der in den Koksöf en gebrann te Koks wird
aus den Ofen auf den vor ihnen liegenden
freien Platz gestoßen, dort gelöscht und da-
nach auf die Verladerampe zum Verladen
in Eisenbahnwagen geschoben. Für den Fall,
daß die Verladeeinrichtungg versagt oder die
Eisenbahnwagen ausbleiben, ist eine sofort
bereite Reserve vonnöten, wenn nicht die
Koksherstellung, ztun mindesten teilweise,
lahmgelegt werden soll. Zu diesem Zwecke
wird gemäß der Erfindung der Raum
zwischen dem Ofen und der normalen Ver-
laderampe durch eine fahr- und kippbare Not-
rampe, die so groß ist, daß wenigstens ein
Brand auf sie ausgestoßen und auf ihr ge-
löscht werden kann, Überbrückt. Um den
hierdurch für die - besonders beim Aus-
bleiben von Eisenbahn-wagen - erforderliche
Lagerung des Kokses verloren gehen-den
Platz zu ersetzen, wird die normale Verlade-
rampe über das Verladegleis hinweg ver-
breitert.
