Description
Verfahren der Erzeugung von Tieftemperaturteer und Halbkoks durch Verschwelen bituminöser Stoffe, wie Steinkohle, Braunkohle u. dgl. im Kreislauf eines überhitzten Gemisches von Kohlengas und Wasserdampf. Es ist bereits ein Verfahren bekannt geworden, nach dem aus bituminösen Stoffen, wie Braunkohle, Steinkohle, Schiefer u. dgl., durch trockene Destillation mittels eines durch das Gut hindurchgeleiteten überhitzten Gases gleichzeitig Teer und Koks gewonnen werden können. Die Ausführung dieses Verfahrens geschah derartig, daß das Gas die überhitzten Kohlenschichten durchströmte, die Destillationsprodukte aufnahm und dieselben durch Abkühlung außerhalb des Schwel- oder Destillationsofenswieder abgab. Das vorliegende Verfahren der Verschwelung bituminöser Stoffe, wie Steinkohle, Braunkohle u. dgl., besteht nun darin, daß ebenso wie bei dem bekannten Verfahren ein überhitztes Gas durch die zu verschwelenden Stoffe geleitet wird, daß aber dieses mit den flüchtigen Destillationserzeugnissen gemischte Gas nicht vollständig wie bisher abgekühlt wird, sondern nur oberhalb des Taupunktes des erhaltenen Dampfgasgemisches. Hierdurch wird bei dem vorliegenden Verfahren auch der im Gase vorhandene Wasserdampf ausgenutzt, während er bei dem bekannten Verfahren in Form von Wasser abgeschieden wurde. Ferner wird der Vojteil erreicht, daß wesentlich an Brennstoff gespart wird, da ja das Gas nicht vollständig abgekühlt wird, sondern immer noch im erhitzten Zustande in den Kreislauf geführt wird. Das annähernd teerfreie, heiße Gas-Dampf-Gemisch wird dann durch den Ventilator a angesaugt und. gelangt wiederum in den Überhitzer b. Es findet also ein Kreislauf des Gemisches von Kohlengas und Dampf statt. Der Überschuß an Gas und Dampf, der nicht für das Verschwelen im Schacht c notwendig ist, wird durch die Leitung g in den Kühler gebracht und gelangt dann durch die Leitung i zu dem nicht dargestellten Gassammelbehälter bzw. zur Verbrauchsstelle.
