Description
Process for the production of raster print stereoscopic images. In the ordinary Raster printing process (autotype, gravure or the like) produced stereoscopic images have the disadvantage that when viewed in a stereoscope with the appropriate magnification, are strongly affected by the fact that the grain or the lines of the used Raster stand out because the lights and depths of both images coincide, whereby the picture effect is considerably disturbed, so that the picture does not appear as a closed one Surface, but appears strongly reticulated or veiled.
Halbtonbild. The purpose of the invention is to use so-called halftone (autotype, gravure o. Like.) Images to achieve an image effect that the stereoscopic image in the Makes enlargement appear as harmonious and vivid as a halftone image without raster or when viewing eilfies stereoscopic image produced by means of raster printing the grid effect cancels or compensates as far as possible. To achieve this, if one proceeds with stereoscopic images to be produced in the raster printing process, that you can see the individual images that complement each other when viewed in the stereoscope copied by means of different or differently placed grids. For example one can take a grid for one picture, the lines of which are horizontal and vertical run while one uses one with the other one whose lines are oblique are placed; or, one picture becomes a grid of lines and the other a grain grid used. Just by arranging different grids for Each image is achieved that the highlights and shadows when viewing both images appear balanced in the stereoscope, creating a harmonious image effect with as closed a color area as possible is achieved. The image acts as a so-called halftone image.
