Description
Roof arrangement for small cars to protect passengers against the weather. The invention relates to a convertible top assembly for a very specific Type of small car is intended. This is a narrow one in a known manner elongated car body roughly in the shape of a cigar arranged on two wheels, the in the -'eichen. Run track. The car body is provided with a fixed hood, that reveals the head and shoulders of the passengers. The new convertible top arrangement is intended to give passengers complete protection against the elements without putting too much strain on the light car. At the same time must the top can be easily folded down. The openings for the upper body @ler passengers must be a certain size to allow boarding. These large openings would make the attachment of a small lightweight canopy great make more difficult. Accordingly, the first measure according to the invention consists in the wide ones To close manholes with a lid that has only a small opening through which the head and shoulders of the passengers emerge. At a Carriages designed in this way can have an additional device for protecting the head easy to install, easy to fold down and easy to remove, which furthermore does not burden the car too much due to its weight. it consists of a spherical protective hood for each passenger, made up of collapsible sections is formed from transparent fabric. Are the seats for two or more passengers arranged one behind the other, the protective hood can be designed so that the the hood attached in front of the front seat to the rear, that behind the rear seat arranged hood is open to the front, and that both through a barrel-shaped, through Tire reinforced, collapsible fabric roof o. The like. Are connected.
An embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is shown in the drawing shown. The elongated car body i is on two co-lane wheels 5 and 14 stored. The car is equipped with seats for two people. Above everyone The seat is a large entry cut-out 2, 3 -arranged, in each of which a cover 4. and 6 is fitted. Each of the covers has a cutout 8, g, which is straight reveals the head and shoulders of the passenger. Each of the seats is covered by a hood of spherical shape 3i> 3i ', of which the front after rear, the rear is open to the front. The hoods are made of collapsible Sections of transparent fabric, such as Zellon. The openings facing each other of the two hoods 3 i, 31 'are reinforced by a barrel-shaped, solid tire Vault 33 made of fabric or the like. Connected, which is stretched between the hoods. The vault can be collapsible windows 3.1. made of transparent fabric, such as Zellon, own.
