Description
The invention relates to a device according to the genus concept of the main claim. Such a device is from DE-PS 32 43 223 become known. Here, the Suspension introduced centrally, in a tube that Is part of the turbidity cycle.
In practice it has been shown that the flotation is still is not executed intensely enough; also the in injected air is not used optimally. An enlargement of the Container volume faces problems of space and cost opposite.
The invention has for its object a device to improve according to the generic term such that the Flotation is even more intense for a given container volume guided and the injected air is used even better.
This object is according to the invention by the character resolved characteristics of the main claim.
Further important features result from the subclaim.
The device according to the invention is explained below with reference to the devices developed for this purpose according to the figures, which show various embodiments of these devices in detail, the figure labeled "b" in each case representing the corresponding top view of the respective embodiment. In the figures, 1 or 1 ' or 1'' or 1''' of the flotation tank designed as a standing cylinder is referred to in which the suspension amount to be cleaned is supplied almost tangentially in the upper or middle part of the flotation tank. As a result of the rotational movement thereby achieved, the new substance is washed out evenly for the first time by the fresh air introduced into the lower part of the flotation container. In the subsequent annular chamber 2-2'-2 '' - 2 ''' , the suspension is completely deaerated by choosing the downward flow so that the vertical component is less than the rate of ascent of the air bubbles, including those at that should have already accumulated dirt particles. The pre-cleaned substance is fed with a certain circulation amount of the booster pump 3-3'-3 '' - 3 ''' , which feeds the gassing device 4-4'-4''-4''' , in which the fresh air into the Amount of suspension is mixed.
In order to achieve a uniform ventilation of the entire container cross-section, a central outlet 5-5'-5 '' - 5 ''' arranged in the central axis of the container with radial-horizontal flow lines or many air-suspension lines evenly distributed over the circumference Exits 6-6'-6 '' - 6 ''' , arranged on one level, with horizontal and almost tangential flow lines, provided. The air-oxygen suspension is thus fed into the lower part of the flotation tank.
The position of the horizontal outflow is chosen in FIGS . 2a-3a-4a so that the flow lines, which initially differ little from the horizontal, can subsequently be divided into an upward and a downward flow. The cross section of the annular chamber 7'-7 '' - 7 '''of the flotation tank is chosen so that the vertical component of the downward flow is smaller than the rate of rise of the air bubbles, including those to which dirt particles have already accumulated.
In Fig. 1a, the position of the horizontal outflow is selected so that the flow lines, which initially differ little from the horizontal, are converted exclusively into an upward flow.
In the subsequent annular chamber 7 , the finished material is completely deaerated by choosing the downward flow so that the vertical component is less than the rate of ascent of the air bubbles, including those to which dirt particles should have already accumulated.
In the method shown in FIGS . 1a-2a-3a-4a, the substance to be treated is finally washed out with fresh fresh air before the suspension amount as finished substance leaves the flotation cell. The flotation foam collects above the suspension level and can be easily removed from the circumference by rotating the liquid.
Another advantage of the device according to the invention is that the throughput over a wide range can be reduced. To economically at reduced production, it is recommended the booster pump with a variable drive Mistake.
In the arrangements shown in FIGS . 3a and 4a for more than two uses of air, one or more washout stages are added. The device according to the invention has the advantage that an automatic circulation of the suspension amount to be cleaned takes place without additional device, due to the different specific weight of the air-enriched suspension amount and the deaerated suspension amount.
To support the rotation in the flotation cell , a subset 6-6'-6 '' - 6 ''' can be added tangentially with or without additional ventilation.
In FIG. 5, the arrangement is shown for a system with more than one cell. An overflow box is proposed as a level control.
