Description
The invention relates to a method for biological and biological-chemical processing of wastewater using activated sludge in an activated sludge tank Sludge separator, whereby the water treated biologically in the aeration tank after Pass the separator to one clarification derived or directly to another Treatment stage initiated or derived without clarification.
Such wastewater treatment plants usually consist of an activation tank in which the wastewater is cleaned with activated sludge and a downstream one Clarification basin, in which a separation of activated sludge and waste water takes place biologically treated waste water flows into a secondary clarifier in the aeration tank and the sedimented activated sludge through clearing devices from the bottom of the secondary clarifier tank is withdrawn and returned to the aeration tank as return sludge. This procedure is necessary in order to have a sufficiently high activated sludge concentration to ensure in the aeration tank to maintain the biological degradation processes. The activated sludge is not retained in the activated sludge tank, so that Activated sludge concentrations in the inlet to the secondary clarifier and in the outlet of the aeration basin are the same.
On the one hand, this known procedure requires relatively large secondary clarifiers for Retention, sedimentation, thickening and storage of the activated sludge. On the other hand limits the activated sludge concentration, i.e. the biomass working in the activated sludge tank, so that considerable volumes are also required here.
From DE 196 44 334 A1 and from British Offenlegungsschrift 2,084,127 Methods and devices known in which the waste water at one end in the appropriate system is introduced and executed at the other end of this. A Circulation is not intended for wastewater.
The information given in the aforementioned British Laid-Open Specification 2,084,127 allows conclusions to be drawn as to the flow velocity provided there between the entrance and the exit. The maximum throughput is given as 78 m 3 / h. This value is calculated z. B. achieved with a cross-section of 1 m 2 and a speed of 78 m / h. The cross-section flowed through is given as 3.6 m × 6 m = 21.6 m 2 . This in turn results in a flow speed of 78 m 3 / 21.6 m 2 = 3.6 m / h, i.e. a very low speed, which, since it is ultimately determined by the amount of wastewater flowing in, cannot be kept constant.
The invention has for its object the activated sludge concentration in the activated sludge increase basin, but at the same time the activated sludge concentration in the course of the To reduce aeration tanks.
This object is achieved in that the waste water in at least one formed by a channel-shaped activation tank with a circuit Flow speed of 0.10 to 0.50 m / s is driven that the wastewater arranged essentially upwards by a horizontally and at least 0.2 m submerged packet-like, flat separator is guided, which at its edges above the level of the Waste water in the aeration tank has protruding flow barriers, and that in the Aeration tank of biologically treated water after passing through the separator to one Clarification is derived as specified in claim 1.
According to this process, the activated sludge is mined before the transition to the secondary clarification at least partially separated, falls down from the separator and is due there the high flow rate of the wastewater immediately taken away and the cycle fed again. By increasing the activated sludge concentration in the aeration tank the aeration tank volume can be reduced, and by reducing the vitality sludge concentration in the outflow of the aeration tank and thus also in the inflow to the after clarifiers whose volume and surface area are reduced. In addition, it goes without saying also reduces the required return sludge load. In special cases, when the play lower demands on the solids concentration of the treated wastewater clarification can even be dispensed with entirely.
The inventive method can be carried out so that the waste water the separator flows obliquely upwards inclined to the vertical.
The procedure is advantageously such that the waste water in the separator is more than 90 ° is diverted from the flow direction of the waste water in the aeration tank.
Appropriately, the procedure according to the invention is such that the wastewater in the Ab is passed through slats or pipes inclined relative to the vertical.
Finally, the invention provides that the wastewater is closed in several separate its circuits formed by channel-shaped basins for nitrification, denitrification and / or dephosphating is performed.
For the implementation of this process, basin designs are also suitable, which are concentric rule rings arranged channel-shaped basin, which are then separated by the be written manner are combined.
Es zeigen: Embodiments of the method according to the invention are described below with the aid of Drawings exemplified. Show it:

Der Zulauf des Abwassers und gegebenenfalls die Rückschlammeinführung erfolgen ge mäß Pfeil 4.The aeration tank 1 of FIG. 1 has a central dividing wall 2, around which a channel is formed, is guided into the waste water in the direction of arrows 3 in a closed circuit. The wastewater is fed in and, if necessary, the sludge is introduced in accordance with arrow 4 .
In the channel-shaped activation tank 1 , a separator 5 is provided, which is followed by a run 6 for clarification. Arrangement and structure of the separator will be described later.
A known roller-shaped conveying device, which is schematically indicated by its axis of rotation 7 , engages in the waste water. The conveyor is used to give the wastewater a speed between 0.10 and 0.50 m / s.
In the embodiment of an aeration tank according to FIG. 2, the wastewater is conducted in an aeration tank 10 which has a total of four sections running parallel to one another, the respectively immediately adjacent sections having opposite flows and being connected to one another in an arc shape. An inlet according to arrow 11 is provided for the inlet and return sludge. In addition, centrifugal aerators 12 are arranged in the arcuate transition regions between adjacent, oppositely flowing sections, which simultaneously give the wastewater in the activation tank the desired flow rate.
There is also a separator 13 in the activation tank 10 with subsequent drain 14 for clarification.
Referring to FIGS. 3 and 6 are three tanks 20, 21, 22 arranged concentrically to each other, wherein the radially outer 20, for example of the nitrification, the radially inwardly serves following denitrification 21 and the innermost 22 of dephosphatation. 23 wastewater is fed into the basin via an inlet. About propeller agitators 24 , 25 , 26 , three of which are arranged in the circumferential direction one behind the other in the exemplary embodiment, the wastewater is brought to the desired flow rate. It then finally reaches the area of a separator 27 , from which it can be fed to a clarification tank or another of the concentrically arranged tanks.
The separators used in all of the aforementioned tank designs will be described in more detail with reference to FIGS. 4 and 5.
The separators are each flat and pack-like, the separator elements being held by a box-shaped frame. The separators are immersed in the upper area of the channel. They are provided at their edges with flow barriers 30 , which ensure that the wastewater can only pass from bottom to top through the separators and thus over them.
The wastewater is always routed essentially upwards in the separators, this flow in the separator according to FIG. 4 being inclined in the direction of the channel flow, that is to say obliquely upwards in relation to the channel flow
In the separator according to FIG. 5, on the other hand, it is provided that the wastewater - in relation to the direction of the channel flow - is guided obliquely upwards to the rear. A stronger deflection of the wastewater is achieved when entering the separator, which makes the separation of activated sludge particularly effective.
In any case, the activated sludge is largely retained by the separator and then sink down. In doing so, the activated sludge is released by the channel flow carried along due to their high flow rate and thus in the aeration tank evenly distributed and held.
