Zum Aufschließen der Poren dient nun die Nachbehandliung mit einer geeigneten Säure, wie z. B. mit eisenfreier S,ai@zsäure, mit der die zu beizende Holzfläche überstrichen wird. Dadurch erhält das liol,z ein für einwandfreies Beizen erforderliches Aussehen sowie eine für diesen Zweck geeignete Beschaffenheit, und atiPerdenn entfernt die Säure die Letzten Reste der Ölfarbe, wie insbesondere aus den Poren, so- daß diese geöffnet sind.
