Description
Process of oil-coated wood for subsequent staining to make suitable. So far it was not possible to open doors, windows, furniture and other things Wooden surfaces coated with oil paint or varnish for subsequent staining: suitable to.ma:chen if the oil paint or varnish is no longer desired for any reason was.
The present invention relates to a method which enables to stain such wooden surfaces in an impeccable manner. This method consists essentially in d @ ate the wood when the oil paint by means of any Solvent as well as subsequent scraping has been removed with a Post-treated acid and then washed off with hot water. According to the external Removal of the oil paint, the wood is not yet suitable for taking up the stain, i.a. because its pores are still closed and: it through the former treatment got dark. The aftertreatment now serves to open up the pores a suitable acid, such as. B. with iron-free S, ai @ zäure, with which the to be pickled Wooden surface is painted over. This gives the liol, z a perfect pickling required appearance as well as a quality suitable for this purpose, and AtiPerdenn the acid removes the last remnants of the oil paint, such as in particular from the pores so that they are open. Through that. It is washed off afterwards the wood is freed of the acid, whereupon it is not allowed to dry off, Evas at room stone peracutir roughly i to i1 / _. Days has ended. The disintegration enables it to be painted over with oil paint Previous wood is just as beautiful and smooth, easy to stain as fresh wood, d. H. in such a way that the fibers of the wood in their characteristics and appearance are like in such a case appear.
If the wood after removal of the oil paint, i.e. H. after treatment with sätire is not yet completely pure and intact, it can be done before application the wood stain with calcined soda as well as a weak Acid treated, after which it was washed off and dried at the same time will.
The stain used in particular is the one called "Paracidol stain" -available furs into consideration, which serves as a pre-stain, whereby with a? utnoniak stain iachgolieizt.
In case the wood becomes stained after the acid treatment or is otherwise imperfect, it is rubbed off with acetone and then again washed.
