Description
Verfahren zur Herstellung von Druck- und Stempelfarben. Bekanntlich stellt man Druck- und Stempelfarben im allgemeinen in der Weise her, däß iran einen Farbstoff, z. B. Nigrosin, in Glycerin auflöst. Benutzt man derartige Farben auf geleimten Papier; so zeigt sich, daß dasselbe nur schlecht von der Farbe benetzt wird; das Glycerin- dringt nur sehr unvollkommen in das Papier ein, was zur Folge hat, daß der Druck sehr lange feucht bleibt und leicht verwischt werden kann, was besonders bei Herstellung von Massenauflagen von großem Nachteile ist.Process for the production of printing and stamping inks. Wichtig hierbei ist noch, daß die Viscosität der Farbe durch diesen Zusatz nicht herabgesetzt wird, da das Cyclohexanol selber eine große Zähflüssigkeit besitzt. In der Patentschrift 2630¢ sind bereits als Lösungsmittel für Harze Ketone, z. B. Cyclohexanon, beschrieben, wobei auch auf die Lösungsfähigkeit von Farbstoffen hingewiesen ist. Hieraus konnte jedoch keinesfalls der Schluß gezogen «-erden, daß durch die Zugabe von Cyclohexanol zu einer Lösung eines Farbstoffes in Glvcerin die oben geschilderten Vorteile erreicht werden konnten: Beispiel. 8o Teile Nigrosin «erden in einem Gemisch von 8oo Teilen Glycerin und 8o Teilen Cyclohexanol gelöst und die Lösung zum Anreiben von 4o Teilen Ruß benutzt.The surprising observation has now been made that these disadvantages be avoided if one gives the dye an addition of cyclohexanol.
