Vorrichtung zum Auffangen des Bohrmehls bei hauptsächlich senkrecht nach obenDevice for collecting the drilling dust at mainly vertically upwards
gehenden Gesteinbohrungen.going rock drilling.
Patentiert im Deutschen Reiche vom 23. Juni 1920 ab. Patented in the German Empire on June 23, 1920.
When drilling rock, especially in fractures and crosscuts in mining, the workers are affected by the drilling dust that is formed and that enters the open air from the place of work, very annoyed and disabled. Drill dust catchers are already available to remedy these inconveniences built in which a sleeve or chamber to be inserted into the borehole, the serves to collect the drill dust, surrounds the drill bit and against the latter is sealed.
Auch hat man hierbei schon den Bohr-You also have the drilling
meißel mit einer ihn umgebenden drehbaren Hülse als Abdichtungsmittel versehen.chisel provided with a surrounding rotatable sleeve as a sealing means.
The subject of the invention, which belongs to the devices of the genera mentioned, offers a design of those devices which is substantially improved in various respects and which is particularly suitable for vertical, bottom-up rock drilling. ίο An embodiment is illustrated in Figs. i, 2 and 3 of the drawing. It shows the Fig. Ι a vertical axis section, Fig. 2 is an associated plan according to the horizontal section AA of Fig. Ι and Fig. 3 is a side view Half-split bushing, which has a lower further body α and tapers towards the top into a neck b, which is slightly conical in shape and is wedged into the pre-drilled borehole I. The lower part α of the two-part sleeve is, for example, as shown, held together by a hinge c and a screw connection d . Inside the lower part α of the two-part sleeve | there is a fixed collecting cone e , also divided into two halves according to the bushing, in the center of which an expediently two-part sleeve h is rotatably mounted, which exactly encloses the cross-section of the drill bit m passing through. This creates a closure of the collecting cone e or the borehole I against the outside air or the place of work. The dust left over during drilling slides down inside the bushes into the collecting cone e and is passed through | one attached to the side of the rifle! Outlet / directed away. In the illustrated embodiment j, this outlet f is formed by a piece of pipe 1 fixed to the bushing α , which simultaneously serves to fasten the entire device to the pipe column set up at the work site. Instead of the single outlet f , several can be arranged distributed over the circumference as desired.
A somewhat modified embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is illustrated in FIGS. 4, 5 and 6 of the drawing, which correspond completely to FIGS. 1, 2 and 3 in the drawing.
The difference between this second embodiment and the first described is that now the rotatable sleeve surrounding the drill bit and serving as a seal itself is designed as an expedient two-part collecting cone k , which essentially covers the entire inner base of the bushing α and whose bore is also exactly the same Chisel cross-section corresponds. In the exemplary embodiment of FIGS. 4, 5 and 6, the cone k is rotatably guided and held by the ring r fixed on the bushing α. The rotatability of the entire cone k facilitates and favors the discharge of the trapped drill dust through the outlet attached to one side on the outer circumference / and thus prevents blockages.
