Description
Verfahren zum Fixieren von basischen Farbstoffen. -Es wurde gefunden, daß die wasserlöslichen Kondensationsprodukte aus Aldehyden, wie Formaldehyd, Acetaldehyd u. a., mit Di- und Polyoxybenzolen oder ihren Derivaten, wie Sulfo- oder Carbonsäuren, auf Baumwolle fixiert, sich ähnlich wie Tannin verhalten und mit basischen Farbstoffen waschechte Färbungen geben. Vor Tannin haben sie den Vorzug, daß sie mit oder ohne Beize, wie Kochsalz, Brechweinstein, Alaun u. a., direkt auf Baumwolle aufziehen. Sie bleibt hierbei mehr oder weniger rein weiß. Nach erfolgter Fixierung wird gespült und wie üblich mit basischen Farbstoffen gefärbt.
