Abstract

The centrifugal concentrating machine has a horizontal bowl (1) enclosing a rotatable screw conveyor (8) which is coaxial with it. The conveyor is mounted on hollow shafts (12, 13) attached to each sidewall, and is rotated at a different speed to the bond. Liquid to be treated concentrated liquid and residual liquid, one continuously supplied and discharge through the hollow shafts. Throttle valves (23,26) are disposed at the position located midway of discharge passages extending from the hollow shafts for concentrated and residual liquids.
