Abstract

The system consists of an insertion part (1) connected via a sealing body (5) to a sample delivery head (10). The delivery head contains an input valve (14) with a spherical spring-loaded valve body (22) which seals an inner bore (11) leading to a sample delivery chamber (30). Heaters (38) are programmably controlled so that the delivery chamber (30) and a part enclosing the capillary column have at least approximately equal temp. even for different heating speeds.
