Der Stahldrahtbesen besteht aus einem einfach gekrümmten Holzkörper, in welchem eine grofse Zahl konischer, oben 6, unten 4 mm weiter Löcher gebohrt sind, in denen ebenso viel Bündel federharter Stahldraht befestigt sind. Ein gufseiserner Deckel, welcher mit 6 Holzschrauben auf den Holzkörper aufgeschraubt ist, hält die Borsteh fest und hat zwei Naben zur Aufnahme einer Stange, mittelst welcher der Besen bewegt wird. Aufserdem sind zwei eiserne Rollen angebracht, welche das leichte Fortbewegen des Besens ermöglichen.
