Abstract

The trap is used for catching edible snails and for catching and killing inedible snails. It consists of an outer container with a wedge-shaped extension located at the lower end for pressing into the ground. A removable vessel is partly filled with a beer as a bait. The appliance is provided with an umbrella-type cover.
