Nach dem Erkalten bildet die Masse eine gute, dichte Verbindung des Bodens mit dem zylindrischen Teil. Dabei hat sich gezeigt, daß die Isoliermasse beim Schmelzen auch entlang dem etwa vorhandenen Schweiß- oder Lötnähten sich ausbreitet und diese dadurch vollkommen dichtet.
